Walking Shadow Fall/Winter Auditions

Casting for Amazons and Their Men and Caligula. Auditions will occur Tuesday, August 12th and Wednesday, August 13th from 6:30 - 9:30pm each night.

At the Children’s Theatre Company (2400 3rd Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN). Please enter through the stage door (at 25th Street and 3rd Avenue, across the alley from the parking ramp). The receptionist will tell you where to go. Do not contact the Children’s Theatre regarding these auditions.

Prepare a 1-2 minute monologue and bring a headshot/resume. Sides from each script will be available at the audition.

CDT Auditions

Chanhassen Dinner Theaters/Retirement Home auditions August 11 for Altar Boyz. Equity and Non-Equity. All ethnic backgrounds strongly encouraged to attend, looking for 5 male singer/dancers must look late teens-’20s. Please call 952-934-1502 for appt between 9:30-3:30 M-F. (ed. note — Late teens in Chan years is mid-30s.)

Actor’s Theater of MN Auditions

Actor’s Theater of MN will be putting on an entirely new production of Tony and Tina’s Wedding under the direction of Ross Young. Opening is scheduled for January 2009 with an unspecified closing date. Rehearsals will likely begin at the end of November or beginning of December.

Resumes are currently being collected for auditions that will take place the week of Aug 18th & 25th.

M&F actors of all ages needed. Individuals with previous interactive or improv experience are strongly encouraged to apply, but previous experience is not required.

Ordway/Park Square Auditions

Ordway Center for the Performing Arts and Park Square Theatre are holding auditions for its 2009 production of GREY GARDENS the musical. Auditions are Saturday August 9, 2008 12pm -8pm at Park Square Theatre and are by appointment only. Please call 651-282-3061.

Prepare a brief Broadway show tune and have a second ready if asked. Bring sheet music. An accompanist will be provided.

Please bring a picture and resume, stapled together.
