Starting Gate Productions is holding auditions for Neil Simon’s Barefoot in the Park directed by Richard Jackson on Monday, June 2nd and Tuesday, June 3rd from 6pm to 9pm at The Mounds Theatre. The theater is located at 1029 Hudson Road in St. Paul. Callbacks will be on Saturday, June 7th.

Production dates are Nov 7-30, 2008 in St Paul, with a remount at Pioneer Place on Fifth in St Cloud from Feb 26-March 15, 2009. Stipends paid for both runs. Auditions will consist of readings from the script and will be available on their website at startinggate.org/auditions.asp.

Needed are 4 men and 2 women. Character breakdown is as follows – Paul Bratter 20 to early 30’s, Corey Bratter 20’s, Mrs Banks 50’s, Victor Velasco 60’s, Telephone Repairman 30’s or older, and Deliveryman 20’s-30’s.
